“Love is like a butterfly … It goes where it pleases and it pleases where it goes.”
I loved making these gorgeous summery butterflies made from plain and patterned felt, embellished with a few pearly beads, sequins and buttons.
I can’t resist making owls and loved creating the pattern for these little cuties. They are so quick and easy to make that it’s impossible to make just one!
I made the pattern for these Dizzy Izzy Kitty cat dolls a while ago and love their sweet little faces with pink noses and cute button eyes. Inspiration came from our own adorable cat family.
I absolutely love buttons and have hundreds of them in my stash of all different colours and sizes. So when I bought some wooden heart shaped buttons with the most gorgeous floral designs, it didn’t take me long to decide what to make with them …… Heart Button Brooches.
I was flicking through some photos the other day and I came across this handsome fella.
He’s gorgeous isn’t he? It took me right back to a lovely week spent with Mr J in the heart of the Northumberland countryside. We stayed in a rustic log cabin in the middle of nowhere with just sheep for neighbours.
This is Flora the Owl, she’s gorgeous isn’t she? Flora was one of my very first crafty creations and she now lives in Norway. She is such a popular girl and has had so many repins and likes on Pinterest.
